Hunter Cordaiy is a Sydney based writer and lecturer. In the last 20 years he has published an extensive list of reviews, articles and interviews in Filmviews, Freeze Frame, Editions, Cinema Papers, Rolling Stone, The Sydney Review, urbancinefile.com, Metro Film Magazine, Australian Screen Education Magazine, Storyline, and screenhub.com.au. From 1985 – 1988 Hunter Cordaiy was Sydney Editor of Filmviews Quarterly and has been a Director of Open City inc. publishers of Realtime. He wrote the Introduction to the published script of My Brilliant Career (UQP, 1992) and has published a chapter interview on Jane Campion (edited by Virginia Wexman, Uni. Mississippi Press, 1999). He is an assessor for the post-graduate program at College of Fine Arts, UNSW in script writing, and has taught this subject at undergraduate and post-graduate level at University of Western Sydney since 1991.

Hunter Cordaiy is available for presentations and seminars on a range of film topics and specific titles, including: Adaptation and the script process, developing screenplays, The French New Wave, and directors in-depth such as Alfred Hitchcock, Michelangelo Antonioni, Luis Bunuel, Jacques Rivette and Erich Rhomer. Hunter Cordaiy also works professionally in the film industry as a Script Editor and Mentor. |
